Turn the item to be modified inside out, turn the hem upwards, and pin it through the center of the inner side. 2. Cut the tape about 1" longer than necessary. 3. Soak the tape in water and squeeze it lightly. 4. Place the tape adhesive-side (white thread) down. 5. Press firmly with an iron pre-heated to 300°F (150°C) for about 10 seconds. Do not slide the iron. Start in the center and then move back and forth from left to right until finished. Notes 1. If washing or drying the hem causes it to come loose, simply apply an iron heated to 300°F (150°C) for 10 seconds. 2. If the tape fails to properly apply, place a damp cloth on top, iron it, then gently peel it away.
